A poster replica remake of a remake of an old movie. I'm not a fan of the old Captain America film, nor the fake ear in his headgear costume XD, but I wanted to try redoing the same style using most elements in the older film.

I couldn't find a side-view head shot without headgear of Matt Salinger so I just used what I was able to get from images in Google.

So, what do you think?

Uh no, I don't think so. The 1990 Captain America movie and this Captain America movie (The First Avenger) has almost identical story lines, thus, actually making it a remake.

"Captain America: The First Avenger is the fifth film (and considered a prequel) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH the 1990 Captain America film, which aside from being based on the same comic book character, HAS NO RELATION IN THIS FILM.

As of right now, there exists a PREQUEL COMIC called CAPTAIN AMERICA: FIRST VENGEANCE."

I don't know, maybe because this is based on the Ultimate Universe. You see, both 1990 and 2011 films are Captain America films, no doubt about it. I'm not saying it's different nor is it the same. But it's definitely not a prequel nor a sequel to the 1990 movie. Do you get what I'm trying to say? Have you seen the 1990 movie? Captain America became super soldier there and he battled the Red Skull there, which will be just like the 2011 movie.

Which one? The old one or this new one? The old one is definitely first but it doesn't mean it's a prequel, because as I've said, they have almost the same story lines.
